About Ida

Welcome to Tea for thoughts!

My name is Ida and I’m a Swedish woman, mom, girlfriend and student living in Quebec City since 2005. My wonderful man and I have two sons – Bailey born in 2007 and Oliver born in 2009. I spend my school year at the university studying linguistics and I spend my summers at home with my babies.

I have been blogging in Swedish for about ten years but I recently started longing for a new blog… kept in English and away from my Swedish readers. Most of the blogs that I read are in English and I have been wanting to invite my favorite writers back to my place sometimes, something that is impossible to do if I only offer text in Swedish.

This blog will, hopefully, mirror my inner life more than my outer life. I intend to write about creativity, projects, hopes and dreams. I want to stop being the person people want me to be… not an easy task, I tell you.
